74Weld Stage 3 Bronco HD Billet Steering Rack System
This is much more than a simple housing. Our billet aluminum steering rack is a completely redesigned solution for those who want the security of knowing that this housing will not break. We have redesigned how the rack bar is stabilized in the housing, eliminating the common failure points on both sides of the rack. The factory rack bar is stabilized by 1.5 points of contact. The 74Weld billet housings stabilizes the rack in 4 points of contact and a massive amount of material to the housing making it significantly stronger.
While this is a massive improvement over the factory rack, we still maintain full OEM compatibility. The OE rack is fully integrated with ABS electronics and this critical component is fully maintained with the 74Weld Billet Bronco Steering Rack. This rack uses the internals and motor from a Ford Performance HOSS 3.0 rack to ensure proper electronic integration and compatibility with all OE systems. These will be shipping with Ford Performance HOSS 3.0 tie rods included. If you wish to upgrade to a larger tie rod we will also offer this as an upgrade.
