After quickly finding the limits of the factory Bronco Bilsteins, we enlisted the help of our friends over at ADS Suspension. The support we get from a small boutique shock company is critical to ensuring our builds are equipped with the proper internal valving and spring rates for their specific uses and trail abilities.
We needed our Bronco to be prepared for all the trail events we plan on attending. One requirement was to be in full control of the ride height of each corner to be able to adapt to different payloads. We also needed to adapt the ride quality from soft to firm as we encounter different styles of trails/roads/streets. Most importantly we needed a shock that was not only designed, but tested and tuned for our level of experience. We need the maximum travel numbers to articulate 37s without risking damage to the fenders/tires.

ADS HISTORY
Over the past three decades and thousands of miles of racing through the scorching Arizona/Baja Cali desert, ADS has realized one thing; heat is the enemy! Shock oils and seals are designed to operate optimally at certain temp ranges. Operating near or over those ranges drastically reduces performance and ride quality. They have sifted through thousands of part numbers and tested hundreds of different combinations to find absolute shock perfection! The design of the entire shock absorber has been optimized to have highest flow in order to reduce the build up of heat. This translates to shocks that last longer, perform better, and have all the ranges of adjustment to dial in the ride to your exact liking. If it can survive racing in the 113°+ desert, it can survive anything you can throw at it!
