Bumper lights do a great job of projecting light directly in front of the vehicle, while mirror mounted ditch lights or A-pillar lights can do a much better job illuminating the sides of the road/trails or cornering zone 2. For higher speed applications, the higher mounting position of the A-pillar lights allow the light to project farther down the road/trail properly illuminating distance zones 4/5.
Hundreds of dollars worth of A-pillar lights make for a easy target for thieves and is precisely the reason we wanted to incorporate tamper resistant hardware into our brackets. We counter sink the tamper resistant hardware into our bracket as well as provide a special security nut that secures the light bracket to our mounts. Made in house wrench included!
